The podcast “5 Song Set” has featured the Montalban Quintet song “Besa Sorta”. The idea behind the podcast is to show off some modern music that uses saxophone outside of its traditional role in jazz music. “Besa Sorta” along with the whole album features the great Jim Weiss on baritone (and tenor) sax. He’s a phenomenal player and we are truly honored to have on board the MQ project.
